What's Happening around the Department?
* Wednesday, November 15th at 6:00pm in the Studio Theatre:
CSULB Center for Indian Studies is inviting a very respected performance artist to give a presentation in the Studio Theatre. She is doing her 20 minute work called Walk, which she created in the wake of the hideous rapes in Delhi a couple of years ago, but has since performed all over the world. It is basically about the right to walk anywhere one wishes to go at any time without risk of harm, to be able to move through the world as one wishes and can, in peace and harmony.
* Sunday, December 10th at 1:00pm in the Studio Theatre:
This special benefit performance of The Voice Bank will take place at the Theatre Arts Department at CSU Long Beach and will benefit the ALS Association Golden West Chapter and the CSULB Theatre Arts department. Information on how to reserve seats is forthcoming. For additional information about the production, click here.
